Behind The Pines x Volcom x Capita x Union | Montgenevre Trip 2022

Every year we organize an adventure at the end of the season where we take everyone who wants to join us on an epic snowboarding trip (skiing also allowed;))

This time we went to Montgenevre, France. A resort on the border with Italy where the mountains are big and the coffee is great.

None of us had ever gone to Montgenevre so it was a try out of sorts, the Chalet we booked looked really good and we couldn't wait to check it out. 

As we arrived spring was in full effect and it was time for some sunny side-hit laps through the resorts. We quickly found out it was best to head over to the Italian side for lunchtime and take in some red wine, lasagna and a coffee to get ready for the second part of the day.

The resort is really fun and we where very stoked on the terrain, lots of side-hits next to the slopes and there even was a small park with some jumps.

On the last day we got 50cm of fresh powder and had an awesome day. With a good layer of snow the resort really came alive and the options where endless, the Italian side had the best tree runs that we could find at least and on the French side there was a sick run that started in a large bowl and ended in a steep forest. All in all we can say that the resort is sick for freeriding, great for eating and if you have the right people and chalet it is 100% guaranteed good times.
